An epiphytic cactus called Rhipsalis, an easy-to-care plant, looks very stylish in minimalist or eclectic interiors.

There are about 60 species (Rhipsalis Gaertn.), native to the tropics of South America.

It is not difficult to care for, prefers bright light, but not direct sun, and can grow in partial shade.

     Air temperature in summer is 18-20 °C. In winter, we recommend keeping the plant in cool conditions, but not below 10 °C.
     Watering in the summer once every 2-3 days with well-settled water; in winter, water very carefully, making sure that the top layer of soil dries well.
     Replant as necessary in the spring, into a pot one third larger than the previous one.
     Start fertilizing 2-3 weeks after transplantation, from spring until the end of September. In winter, rhipsalis does not need fertilizer.
     This forest cactus tolerates dry apartment air well; in summer it can be sprayed with warm, soft (settled) water.
