Pachira is a unique plant, with a trunk woven into a braid, it does not take up much space in the room.

The exotic Pachira plant is native to Mexico, Peru and Brazil. A relative of the baobab, easy to care for, grows slowly in the home and office, but can reach up to 3 meters, crown diameter 1.5 m.

The plant is braided, which gives a very stylish look. It blooms with very beautiful flowers, which over time turn into fruits similar to olives. Pachira prefers a bright place, away from direct summer sun, which can burn the foliage.

     Lighting: Bright, diffused sunlight.
     Watering: Pachira, like its relative baobab, stores moisture in its trunks, therefore it does not like frequent watering. In winter they water less often, about once a month, in summer 2 times a month. Do not allow water to stagnate, this will lead to the death of the plant.
     Temperature: In winter not lower than +10 °C, optimally +14 +16°C, in summer up to + 35°C, shade from direct sun.
     Air humidity: In summer you need to spray the plant with settled warm water; in winter it does not need spraying.
     Fertilizing: Universal fertilizer from spring to autumn. Foliar constantly, once every 10 days.
     Replanting: Once every two years, into palm soil or universal soil. In spring, you can trim long branches and form a crown in the form of a ball or oval. Pruning stimulates the production of new shoots, the plant will be twice as voluminous.
