Hamedorea, Bamboo palm

Chamaedorea is a dwarf palm, light-loving, but in summer it should be shaded from direct sunlight.

The plant comes in a plastic pot and transport soil, so we recommend immediately replanting it in universal soil or soil for palm trees. Drainage is placed at the bottom of the pot, thanks to which a greenhouse effect is created in the pot. Moisture is absorbed into the drainage and gradually releases it to the roots.

     Lighting: A bright place, protected from direct sunlight. The presence of a phyto lamp is very desirable; in winter, with the help of such lamps you can extend the day for the plant.
     Watering: The frequency of watering depends on the temperature and humidity level in the room. The palm tree loves constant, fairly abundant watering; the soil should be constantly moist. In very cool rooms, the frequency of watering is reduced.
     Humidity: High, spray the plant.
     Replanting: The presented plant once a year.
     Feeding: Universal fertilizer from March to August once every two weeks, in the fall there is a dormant period, at this time you can feed with foliar fertilizers. Root fertilizing is applied more often, usually once every 10 days.
