Laurus Laurus (Lauraceae family) is famous for its hardiness, drought resistance and is practically not affected by pests.

This beautiful plant is not afraid of drafts; most often the flowerpot is placed in the kitchen. This room and the spacious bathroom with windows have the best air, humid and warm and enough light for growing.

Bay tree care:

     Temperature: Optimal temperature for growing +10 +15°C, minimum +5°C
     Lighting: A bright place, best placed on a windowsill, where in winter the plant can be in direct sunlight all day. In summer, take the Laurel out to the balcony or into the garden, fresh warm air will be very useful for it, shade it from 12 to 15 hours, the daytime sun can burn the foliage.
     Watering: Quite moderate in summer, make sure the soil dries out between waterings. Water less often in winter.
     Air humidity: High, spray the leaves several times a day with warm, soft water, let the water sit for at least 24 hours.
     Feeding: Universal fertilizer from March to October, 2-3 times a month along with watering. Phytohormones and microelements are excellent foliar feeding for better growth, improved appearance and prevention from diseases and pests.
     Replanting: A mixture of leaf soil, turf soil and sand; light universal soil mixed with soil for cacti is suitable. Replant in the spring, when the roots completely fill the pot.
