Butterfly orchid has two types - standard and miniature. The standard one has a height of 55-80 cm, the miniature one 15-25 cm. There is also a Royal Phalaenopsis about 1 meter high.

Native to Southern India, Myanmar and the Malay Peninsula, Philippines and Taiwan. In the wild, orchids grow on the bark of trees, clinging to their roots.
In their native places, the humidity and air temperature are quite high, so the plants bloom for a long time and beautifully.

Phalaenopsis Orchid Care:

     Temperature: Optimal for orchids +20 +24 °C. With a lack of light and temperatures below +5 °C, buds and flowers may fall off. Does not tolerate drafts well, is afraid of cold frosty winds, move the orchid away from the window when ventilating in winter.
     Lighting: Bright, away from direct sunlight.
     Watering: From time to time, immerse the orchid pot in warm, soft water, in a deep bowl, to allow the bark to soak. Water moderately all year round, do not overdry the plant.
     Air humidity: High, spray the leaves, but do not get on the flowers.
     Repotting: After purchasing, place the pot in a beautiful ceramic or glass orchid pot. For replanting, use the next size pot and special soil for orchids.
     Reproduction: By children that appear on the stems.
