Zamioculcas, Dollar Tree
Zamioculcas (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) - was first discovered in the 1830s, on the mountain plateaus of East Africa. The island of Madagascar is also the immediate habitat of Zamia. The plant tolerates long-term droughts, belongs to the aroid family and is a close relative of anthurium, spathiphyllum, syngonium and dieffenbachia.

Caring for Zamioculcas:
Lighting: The most shade-tolerant plant, can be found in completely shaded rooms, grows well even in corridors without windows.
Watering: Very moderate, in summer water no more than twice a month, in winter no more than once and less often. If the plant is planted in a pot and the moisture does not have time to evaporate, water the plant rarely to avoid stagnation of water.
Temperature: Tolerates warm and cool rooms, droughts and high humidity; in every sense this is the most unpretentious plant.
Air humidity: Not necessary, although a warm shower with a spray bottle will not refuse.
Fertilizing: In spring and summer, the plant needs to be fertilized with universal fertilizing; fertilizers for succulents and cacti are also suitable. Alternate mineral and organic fertilizers.
Replanting: The plant is replanted only if necessary, when the pot becomes clearly small and after purchase, since the plant was initially sold in a transport pot and in temporary soil.
